We provide services to a wide-range of clients, from small nonprofits and businesses to large government agencies and the entertainment industry.
A few examples of the kinds of work we do include:
- "An Inconvenient Truth"
As part of the communication team promoting this Academy Award winning documentary about global warming, we provided strategic counsel and rapid communication monitoring and response tactics to keep the climate change message moving forward in the media.
- "Rx for Survival: A Global Health Challenge"
Working in conjunction with GMMB and WGBH in Boston, we led the effort to establish national and local media attention for the six-part PBS documentary series highlighting global health challenges, real solutions, and heroes making a daily difference in the lives of people living in underdeveloped and developing nations.
- IRS Real Property Auctions
Working on behalf of CWS Marketing, Empower Change generated national and local media attention surrounding high-profile auctions of seized real estate including the Redstone Castle in Redstone, Colorado, luxury penthouse suites in Las Vegas, an apartment building and several houses in Texas, and 42 luxury ski-resort condos in Park City, Utah.
- Literacy Council of Northern Virginia
The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia is a non-profit adult literacy organization that recruits and trains volunteers to teach adults who need help reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. To help improve the effectiveness of the groups communication efforts, Empower Change worked with the organization to complete a communication audit, conduct focus groups, write and produce newly updated branding and collateral material, enhance the group's media exposure, and served a key role in organizational strategic planning.
